Whitewater Rafting Campsites
Great whitewater rafting trips require a bit of planning and this site can help you with that. River rafting is also very visual. Rafting trips take us river runners to some truly gorgeous places. So Whitewater Rafting Campsites employs some of the latest web technologies to showcase whitewater photography.
Whitewater Rafting Campsites features a huge collection of river scenery, rapids, and campsite photos from white water rivers throughout the western USA. On these pages you'll find thousands of photos of more than 30 major western rivers on which multi-day rafting trips occur, and photos of more than 500 campsites on those rivers. This great resource has been made possible by the generous contributions of these fellow river runners who have helped me assemble this site for all of us to enjoy.

Determine your distances for each day with the Daily River Mileage Planner. Many of the major permit rivers require that you reserve campsites. So you must plan ahead for which campsites you want, and consider daily mileages you intend to float each day as you choose your campsites. This little software gizmo will help with that.
On our Recommended shuttles page you'll find links and phone numbers for the folks I use to shuttle our vehicles on various rivers.

If you're thinking of taking a white water rafting vacation with a commercial rafting service or outfitter, just check out the advertisers on these pages. Commercial whitewater outfitters don't say in business very long if they don't offer a wonderful time. So you can base your decision more on the river you want to float.
